“LI” and “Consultant” means Lingua International Limited (registered in England and Wales, registration number 11777465) trading as Lingua International.
“Client” means the person who receives services from Lingua International.
"Services" means the services that the Client agrees to buy/receive from Lingua International.
We operate as an intermediate between universities, language schools, accommodation providers and clients in order to provide our users with the possibility to search and book language courses, accommodation and other services online.
We do not provide, own or run any academic course and/or accommodation service and any representations to the contrary are invalid.
Our service is based on information and the services provided by the universities, language and boarding schools, host, users, etc and are subject to change at anytime.
By making a reservation through us with service providers, you accept and agree to the relevant cancellation and refund policy of that particular service provider.
Please note that you may be charged for your cancellation in accordance with the service providers' cancellation and refund policy. We recommend that you read the cancellation and refund policy of the service providers carefully prior to making your reservation.
All the services of Lingua International are free of charge except cases specified below.
During the application process Client pays £150 refundable deposit. Deposit will be refunded upon successful application or after visa refusal.
4. REFUND POLICY
In case a Client cannot or does not want to proceed with the course application or enrolment into an educational institution after paying deposit, the deposit paid to LI will not be refunded under any circumstances, with the exception of cases explicitly outlined herein.
In case the Client is no longer able to continue the application process where there are serious and compelling circumstances (such as serious illness of the Client or a death in the Client’s immediate family) while the application process is at an early stage, the Client must provide documented proof of the circumstances. After receiving the proof, the Consultant will consider the Client’s refund request and refund amount on a case-by-case basis, taking into account the Client’s unique circumstances and the application stage.
If you have been refused visa you must inform us immediately, failure to inform us with less than 14 days before the course start date will result in refund refusal.
In case of providing false documentation of any kind no refund will be given and application process will be stopped.
If you decide to terminate your course at any point after starting date no refund will be given for tuition, accommodation or any other fees.
Classes are not held and most educational institutions are closed on public holidays and will not extend courses to compensate. Students do not lose attendance on these days. No refunds or any other form of compensation will be given for classes not available on public holidays.
The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2013 apply to any student who enrolls online, and these regulations provide for the right to cancel within 14 days of the initial application and a full refund will be given.
As a part of the registration process we ask students to disclose to us all information required in order to assess our obligations and the student’s requirements regarding the provision of information to complete enrolment.
When a student enrols we will require that student to produce all appropriate documentation (eg. passport copies, previous visa copies, bank statements, etc) in order to verify the details submitted to register for the course.
Lingua International makes every effort to provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information, nevertheless errors might occur. Lingua International cannot be held liable for changes to any of the content, or products and services published on its website at any time.
Lingua International does not control third party websites that are provided as an additional information and is not responsible for their contents. Lingua International cannot be held responsible for interruptions, inaccuracies, typographical errors or non-delivery of information.
LI reserves the right to make any changes to any part of these Terms and Conditions without giving any prior notice. Whilst LI shall undertake reasonable endeavour to notify the Client the Client agrees to make themselves acquainted with any updates or changes in the text of these Terms.
